About Us

T.U.K. Shoes has spent decades turning alternative footwear into a form of self-expression. The company traces its beginnings to 1991, when founder Ian White brought his Northampton, England footwear background to San Diego. Influenced by the city's emerging punk scene and British subcultural style, T.U.K. developed footwear that brought traditional creepers together with a distinctly West Coast attitude.

Today, the brand's collection is built around recognizable shapes and unconventional details. Classic and pointed creepers sit alongside Mary Janes, sneakers, sandals, loafers and mules, while platform soles give many designs their unmistakable T.U.K. profile. Current styles range from polished black creepers to leopard, checkerboard, velvet and metallic variations.

Boots are another major part of the collection. T.U.K.'s current assortment includes 7-eye and 10-eye boots, creeper boots, western-inspired designs, knee-high silhouettes and statement boots with chains, straps, buckles and other hardware. The Anarchic collection pushes this aesthetic further with chunky soles, skull buckles and spiderweb-inspired details.

T.U.K. also caters to shoppers seeking leather-free alternatives. The TUKskin™ collection includes vegan creepers, boots, Mary Janes and sandals, while the wider vegan assortment includes sneakers and other alternative footwear. This combination of subculture heritage, expressive design and expanded vegan options gives T.U.K. a distinctive place in contemporary alternative footwear.
